The Brannock Problem
Your Brannock device measurement is just a starting point. Every brand interprets that number differently based on their lasts, toe box shapes, and regional sizing standards. A size 10 in Nike is not the same internal length as a size 10 in Adidas, which is why so many online sneaker purchases end in disappointment.
| Brand / Model | Fit vs True Size | Best For |
| Nike Air Force 1 | Runs 0.5 size large | Wide feet — consider going down |
| Nike Dunk Low | True to size | Standard foot shapes |
| Nike Jordan 1 | True to size | Most foot types |
| Adidas Samba | True to size, narrow | Slim feet |
| Adidas Ultraboost | Runs 0.5 size large | Size down for snug fit |
| New Balance 550 | True to size, roomy toe | Wide feet welcome |
| New Balance 990 | True to size | Daily comfort wear |
Measure at Night
Your feet swell slightly during the day. Measure in the evening for the most accurate length.
Add Insole Notes
Ask your agent to photograph the insole length during QC if you are between sizes.
Account for Socks
If you wear thick socks, add 3-5mm to your target insole length for comfort.
